Renée K. Gucciardo

The Gucciardo Law Firm, PLLC led by Renee K. Gucciardo, includes dedicated family law practice attorneys and support staff that are committed to reaching an amicable solution in your case.

Renée K. Gucciardo began her career by graduating from Michigan State University in 1989 and from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 1992. After working with the Jackson County Prosecutor from 1991 to 1993, she then became an Assistant Oakland County Prosecutor from 1993 to 1998. During that time she acted as an instructor for both the Oakland Police Academy, teaching cadets criminal law and controlled substance procedure, and for the Michigan Prosecuting Attorney’s Association, where she taught courtroom procedure, evidentiary law, and how to try a case.

Attorney Ronald Tolbert, II

Partner

Attorney Ronald Tolbert, II comes to the Gucciardo Law Firm with a passion to help people in their most difficult moments. Having gone through a divorce himself, Ronald is dedicated to ensure that the client’s journey through the court process is as easy as possible.

He received his J.D., Cum Laude, from the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 2015.  While in school, he was a board member of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, assisted in having an article published in the Quinnipiac Law Review, and volunteered in Thomas M. Cooley’s Service to Soldiers program, where he assisted in writing wills and trusts for soldiers going into combat. He also served as Vice-Chair of the Student Committee for the Oakland County Bar Association. Tamara Pittman

Discovery Paralegal

Joining the Gucciardo Law Firm in 2017, Tamara serves as a Paralegal to Renée Gucciardo and Ron Tolbert. Tamara brings a truly sincere passion for her work. Tamara obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies in 2016. While in school, Tamara worked in a personal injury firm quickly moving up within the firm as she neared graduation. Tamara has been working in the legal field for over 3 years and is very well versed in various areas of law. Her goal, whether she is at work or just in general, is to learn something new every day.

Family law clients are often faced with a variety of emotional situations. Tamara presents a calm, helpful and supportive demeanor as she handles their immediate needs, while patiently explaining each process. While our clients experience open and frequent communication with their attorney, Tamara is an additional liaison between the clients and our firm.

Jill Mitra

Paralegal

Jill Mitra joined the legal team at the Gucciardo Law Firm in 2021. As a graduate of Oakland University’s ABA-approved Paralegal Program, I am dedicated to providing high-quality support to individuals navigating complex legal matters.

With a background in working closely with police, fire, and military personnel, I bring a unique perspective to the table, understanding the challenges these professionals face during divorce and custody proceedings. My goal is to guide individuals with empathy, compassion, and professionalism, ensuring they receive the support they need while navigating these emotional and often challenging processes…

Carynne Roberts

Paralegal

Carynne began working for The Gucciardo Law Firm in January of 2021. She is a paralegal for Renée Gucciardo and Ron Tolbert and has been working in the legal field for 21 years.

What started as a part-time receptionist position for a solo practitioner in Macomb County turned into a full-time paralegal career. Carynne has worked in several areas of law, including real estate, probate/estate planning, landlord-tenant collections, civil litigation, and personal injury. Since 2016, her primary focus has been family law, which she finds both challenging and rewarding.

Carynne is very passionate about helping clients navigate the divorce process and has a genuine love for helping people. She is highly empathetic and provides full support to each client during what is often a very difficult time in their lives. Carynne works hard to ease her clients’ stress and worries.
